Why did the DOJ decide to drop the campaign finance charge on Sam Bankman Fried?

“Outrage over the feds dropping the campaign finance charges on Sam Bankman Fried is growing. Even though we are getting numb to the excesses of the Federal Government, we still want justice for the criminals. Here is the part you may have missed:

Bankman-Fried was charged in December with wire fraud, commodities fraud, securities fraud, money laundering, AND campaign finance law violations. But as of July 27th, the charge for campaign finance violations has been nullified.
The reason why is a bit complicated and reportedly involves the fact that Bankman-Fried had been in the Bahamas when the charges against him were announced. In a letter written this week to U.S. District Judge Lewis Kaplan, federal prosecutors explained that, basically, the Bahamas had only agreed to extradite him to the U.S. if the campaign finance violations charge was dropped.”
The Bahamas did not intend to extradite the defendant on the campaign contributions count. Accordingly, in keeping with its treaty obligations to the Bahamas, the Government does not intend to proceed to trial on the campaign contributions count,”1

As I see the charade unfolding, the pressure was on to nail this guy, Bankman Fried. The Feds had to get him and extradite him from the Bahamas, but they did not want to expose all their Democrat and Republican pals that benefited from FTX's contributions. Here is the brilliance of the Democrat cabal. What if we tell the Bahamian Government to say in the extradition papers that they will not extradite Bankman Fried if the U.S. is going to try him for campaign contribution fraud? All the other charges are fine, have at it. This is my opinion, and I could be very wrong.

“Bankman-Fried donated $46.5 million to the Democrats in 2022, making him the party’s second-largest donor behind George Soros that year,” according to MarketWatch.

In total, Bankman Fried's company, FTX, poured 70 million dollars of contributions into

candidates and the Democrats got the lion's share. Kirsten Gillibrand, U.S. Senator from New York, had second thoughts when the heat was turned up, and her constituents found out she accepted the donations; Gillibrand donated the money to charity. Hold on a minute. That money was not FTX's or Sam Bankman Fried's to give. That money belonged to the investors who trusted FTX to invest their money and make a profit if possible. Forgive me, folks, is that stealing? Help me figure this out, please.

You will find a link below that lists all the donations and who got them. It was mostly Democrats, as you know; however, I can't resist telling you two Republicans who got money were Lisa Murkowski from Alaska and Susan Collins from Maine. Yep, read 'em and weep.2 I hope your elected official is not on the list. ( Go to the bottom of the page for the donation list.)

Sam Bankman Fried was trying to curry favor with Congress to help his business. Some of the donations were kept small and appeared to be donated by many different individuals. Bankman Fried tried to make it seem as though he was contributing equally to both parties, but the facts tell a different story. We are dealing with a Uniparty. The Dems and the Rhinos are in cahoots, and we had best be aware and break it up. Do you think Merrick Garland's prosecutors are up to the job, or will they go for the "Sweetheart Plea Deal?" I am trying not to laugh.

Addendum to my blog. as of 8/4/2023

When he wasn’t evidently attempting to purchase American Democrat politicians’ favor, SBF also went to great lengths to buy the support of Democrat politicians in the Bahamas, where he ran FTX in what gives every appearance of an effort to avoid U.S. regulations and authorities.
In fact, even after he was arrested and his company was exposed as a complete scam, Bloomberg reported that Democrat officials in the Bahamas asked SBF to mint a new cryptocurrency worth “hundreds of millions of dollars” that the islands’ government would control.
The country’s officials even went so far as to assist SBF in regaining access to key FTX computer systems and take over control of digital assets despite the fact that they had been seized by the U.S. government, according to Bloomberg.
Now, Bahamas officials have raised a technicality over the country’s extradition treaty with the U.S. in order to protect Bankman-fried from facing campaign finance charges.

And rather than push back against the small island nation that has zero leverage whatsoever in such a situation to bring back one of the biggest criminals in American history, who literally stole billions from working class individuals worldwide, the Biden regime happily dropped the campaign finance charges against one of their top donors.
“The Government has been informed that The Bahamas notified the United States earlier today that The Bahamas did not intend to extradite the defendant on the campaign contributions count,” a letter from the Biden Department of Justice read. “Accordingly, in keeping with its treaty obligations to The Bahamas, the Government does not intend to proceed to trial on the campaign contributions count.”

Fortunately though, Senator J.D. Vance (R-OH) stepped up to the plate and exposed Attorney General Garland’s DOJ for what it truly is.

As Senator Vance put it, the SBF saga has proven that the Biden Justice Department has deployed tactics similar to the Sicilian mafia in order to run a protection racket for Democrats.
“Hysterical if it wasn’t so tragic,” Vance wrote on X. “Beginning to believe the best comparison for Merrick Garland’s Department of Justice is the Sicilian mob. It’s basically a protection racket for the Democrats.” 3

A response to J.D. Vance's Tweet. Congrats to Sam Bankman-Fried -- the Dem Party's second-largest donor (behind George Soros) -- on having his campaign finance fraud charges dropped by the Biden DOJ. Their hilarious claim is that they just couldn't proceed because the big, powerful Bahamas wouldn't let them. twitter.com/nytimes/status…
