“Corruption in the form of bribery and misuse of public funds is a major obstacle to democracy and economic development.” Ulla Tarnaes – Danish Minister for Development Corporation
The House Oversight Committee, chaired by Rep. Jim Jordan, has been holding hearings on the weaponization of Government. The Committee is looking into government abuses involved with the January 6 swamping at the Capitol.
Based on the testimony of three former FBI agents who claimed whistleblower status. Of the three, Steve Friend and Marcus Allen are suspended without pay, and their security clearances have been revoked. Marcus O’Boyle is also suspended. The three are now pariahs and cannot find work.
“Two of the former FBI employees who testified, Friend and O’Boyle, acknowledged that they had received money from Kash Patel, a close Trump ally who held multiple roles in his administration and now oversees a charity.
They said they needed that money to support their families after FBI suspensions left them unable to work. Still, Democrats said those ties show the partisan nature of the “weaponization” investigation.”[1]
These once highly respected agents have witnessed corruption at the highest level of the FBI and jeopardized their careers to shine the light of truth on what they perceive as an attempt to stop Donald Trump from being reelected president.
“Only a day before, the bureau sent a letter to the committee, which was obtained by POLITICO, saying two of the GOP’s witnesses had their security clearances revoked due to improper actions related to Jan. 6, when a mob of pro-Trump supporters forced their way into the Capitol to disrupt the counting of electoral votes.”[2]
“The letter from the FBI detailed how Friend refused to participate in a SWAT team arrest of a suspect in the Jan. 6 insurrection while serving in Florida and “espoused an alternative narrative” about the attack. Friend maintained the show of force wasn’t needed.”[3]
Marcus Allen had been a specialist in the Charlotte, North Carolina Field Office and provided alternative theories to January 6. Because he refused to go along with the FBI’s decision to call the demonstration an insurrection, Allen was marginalized, lost his job, and could not find employment. You will note I am quoting PBS, Public Broadcasting Service.
These agents saw things that differed from the Government’s line of insurrection to change the vote for president in favor of Donald Trump instead of Joe Biden. The military oath is taken at the time of induction into the military.
"I,____________, do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; and that I will obey the orders of the President of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed over me, according to the regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice. So help me God"[4]
“Notice the oath states, “I will obey the orders of the President of the United States...”, but the Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ) Article 90 states that military personnel needs to obey the "lawful orders of his/her superior.”[5] There were many instances when the defense was used, “I was only following orders.” This defense failed at the Nuremberg Trials after WW11. It failed for the My Lai Massacre on March 16, 1968. Lt. Calley was sentenced to life in prison for this.
Men and women under arms, in the military, or working for a government agency must do some soul-searching before they carry out orders that they perceive may violate the Military Code of Justice or the Constitution. It may be a split-second decision or one that requires more thought. Agents Friend, Allen, and O’Boyle had to make those decisions. In their minds, the Government exceeded its authority, and each agent concluded that it was more important to blow the whistle on the FBI than submit to the illegal order. This has cost them dearly. All three are patriots and witnesses to the weaponization of the FBI.
NBC News claims these FBI Agents Undermined the January 6 Case by testifying before the House Judiciary Committee. You can read the details by clicking on the notes below. [6] NBC is claiming the former FBI agents are undermining the investigation. Did NBC miss the part where the agents were fired, lost their positions, and could not get a job? I assume the reasons the agents testified against the FBI and their Government were so important that they were willing to jeopardize their future for the truth. The Guardian.com referred to the agents as "Consirisy theorists." Us News and World Report claimed, " More than 100 police officers were injured, many beaten, bloodied and bruised. "[7] If you watched FOX News, I doubt that you saw the Capital Police getting beat up like this. The Main Stream Media lies, and it is up to us to sift through the fog and find the facts.
