Was JD Vance the best pick for Vice President?

We all watched as Senator JD Vance accepted his nomination to be the vice president. His story was an American story. JD's life was not easy. His father left at an early age. His mother was an addict and fortunately, Vance was raised by a fiercely American grandmother.

It was apparent that JD was going to support President Trump and do his best to help the former president get re-elected and turn our country around. Who could possibly be against JD? I can understand the elites wanting their favorite to be chosen. Pick one; Tim Scott, Byron Donalds, Elise Stefanik, Ron DeSantis, Ben Carson, Marc Rubio, and Doug Burnum.

The Patriot Pulse has spilled the beans and perhaps you will be surprised. Read this article and get some education. I did.

You’ll be speechless when you see who tried to stop Trump from picking J.D. Vance

Ohio Senator J.D. Vance is now Donald Trump’s running mate.

Not everyone was on board with the pick.

And you’ll be speechless when you see who tried to stop Trump from picking J.D. Vance.

Rupert Murdoch lobbies against J.D. Vance

Fox News founder Rupert Murdoch is no fan of former President Donald Trump.

The network initially opposed his 2016 candidacy.

After the disappointing 2022 Midterm Election results, Fox News effectively banned Trump from the airwaves for nearly six months while relentlessly promoting Florida Governor Ron DeSantis as the future of the Republican Party.

Murdoch took his third crack at trying to expunge Trumpism from the Republican Party by furiously lobbying Trump not to pick U.S. Senator J.D. Vance (R-OH) as his running mate and instead choose the establishment-friendly North Dakota Governor Doug Burgum.

NOTUS reported, “that Murdoch has been pushing for Burgum — and against Vance — for quite some time now, both over the phone and by dispatching surrogates to Trump in person.”

Murdoch burned up the phone lines to try and get the more moderate Burgum on the ticket.

“A source close to Trump told NOTUS that Murdoch has been regularly calling the former president — often multiple times a day — to urge him to choose Burgum,” NOTUS added.

What Murdoch wanted

Murdoch even dispatched emissaries from the New York Post – which is part of Murdoch’s media empire – to urge Trump to pick anyone but J.D. Vance before settling on Burgum as his preferred candidate.

“Murdoch had also sent employees from the New York Post down to Mar-a-Lago to bash Vance and make the case for the North Dakota governor. And the source close to Trump told NOTUS something similar — that Murdoch had sent News Corp executives to meet with the former president to personally make the pitch for Burgum and against Vance,” NOTUS also reported.

“When Murdoch first embarked on the campaign, it was for “anyone but J.D.,” the source close to Trump said. Murdoch seemed open to both Burgum or Florida Sen. Marco Rubio, this person added. But as the veepstakes have intensified over the last couple of weeks, Murdoch has narrowed his focus to Burgum,” NOTUS’s report continued.

Why did Murdoch want Burgum on the ticket?

Murdoch is a globalist who strongly supports the war in Ukraine and amnesty for illegal aliens.

The Fox News founder is much more comfortable with the U.S. Senator Mitt Romney (RINO-UT) and Liz Cheney-led Republican Party.

Vance is the number one opponent of aid to Ukraine in the Senate.

And he strongly opposes amnesty.

A source at Fox News told NOTUS that Murdoch convincing Trump to put Burgum on the ticket was his way of trying to move the GOP past Trumpism by setting up Burgum to be the nominee in 2028 and return the GOP to what it looked like in 2012.

“Rupert has always viewed Trump as subservient to him,” the Fox News source told NOTUS

“And it bothers him. He’s not looking forward to another four years where he’ll have to kiss Trump’s ass. They don’t want Trump on Fox, so they get Burgum on there and groom him for the next four years and make him President. That’s his way of ending Trumpism,” the source added.
