“I was denied by Paul Irving, House Sergeant-at-arms, and also Mike Stenger, Senate Sergeant-at-arms.” Capitol Police Chief Steven Sund

U.S. Capitol, January 6th

January 6 remains a stain on the fabric of America. A few misguided individuals used force to enter the Capitol Building, and little did we know this played right into the hands of the power players in Washington, D.C. Tucker Carlson continues to break new ground in the news business. Perhaps this is why Fox News tried to silence him. This is a post from Unmuzzled News. The interview provides us with insight into who is running the show. Remember, Trump offered federal troops to provide security to the Capitol that day.

January 6

Tucker Carlson has been a thorn in the side of the D.C. establishment.
That’s why he was yanked off of Fox News. And Carlson just released one game-changing episode on January 6th.
Tucker Carlson’s “Tucker on Twitter” show has been a big hit thus far.
Each episode has garnered millions of views, and his latest interview with former Capitol Police Chief Steven Sund might be his most eye-opening one yet.
Carlson originally interviewed Sund for his hour-long show on Fox Nation, but Fox News never aired the interview, and Carlson was summarily pulled off the air.
Carlson brought in Sund again to talk about January 6th, and the interview showed that there were many unanswered questions about that day.
Sund explained that he begged for backup as soon as the Capitol was breached and his officers were attacked, but his requests were denied for 71 minutes.
Sund explained, “Congress passed a law that requires me to go to the Sergeant-at-arms Capitol Police Board in advance of an event to request federal resources such as the National Guard. So Congress passed a law—it’s 2 U.S. Code § 1970—look it up. Just make sure you look it up before December 22, when they changed it—so what was in effect on the sixth? That requires me to go and get approval for bringing National Guard or federal assistance in advance. I have to go to the Capitol Police Board and get approval from Congressional leadership in advance like I did on January 3rd. I was denied twice because of optics and because intelligence didn’t support it.”
Carlson asked, “Who made that decision? Who denied you?”
Pelosi, McConnell, and sergeants-at-arms look really bad
Sund replied, “I was denied by Paul Irving, House Sergeant-at-arms, and also Mike Stenger, Senate Sergeant-at-arms.”
“And who do they work for?” Carlson queried.
Sund responded, “Pelosi on the House side. And then McConnell on the Senate side.”
So Nancy Pelosi and Mitch McConnell were in the loop regarding security.
Sun continued, “I’m the only chief of police in the United States that has a law preventing me—not just regulations, rules that say I gotta go get approval to bring in the National Guard—but a law. Even while we’re under attack, I have to go to those same two people [Irving and Stenger] to request the National Guard to be brought in. I have 340 National Guard that have been activated. At least 150 to 180 of those are in the city, many of them within eyesight of the Capitol, okay? We come under attack at 12:53. [At] 12:55, I call the Washington, D.C. Police Department. [At] 12:58, I make my first call to the Sergeant-at-arms asking, saying, ‘Hey, it’s bad we need assistance. I need a declaration of emergency. I need to bring in the military immediately, and federal resources. I’m told by Paul Irving, ‘I’m gonna run it up the chain. I’ll get back to you.’”
“The chain is Pelosi,” Carlson clarified.
Sund added, “[Irving] didn’t have to do that, but he wouldn’t give me authorization. The law says in an emergency, he can grant me authorization, but he didn’t. My next call was to Mike Stenger. He says, ‘What did Paul tell you?’ ‘He says he’s running it up the chain.’ ‘Let’s wait to hear what we hear from Paul.’ For the next 71 minutes, I make 32 calls. Eleven of those calls are follow-up calls. 1

It took over an hour for Sund to get back up while his officers were being attacked.

Countless security and intelligence failures do not add up, but the establishment does not want anybody asking those questions.
