Donald Trump has been around the block and this time he has the knowledge to drive a stake into the heart of the Deep State. This reality is heartening to Trump supporters who see the Deep State as their mortal enemy. Trump supporters see the Deep State as the cause of inflation, the border crisis, the failing economy, the wars in Ukraine, Gaza, the Red Sea, and the future war for Taiwan.
Before Trump picks the Cabinet Members he will announce his pick for Vice President. Mike Pence was a great Vice President but there is too much water under the bridge for Pence to be considered now and I doubt that Pence would accept if the office were offered. Who is a viable candidate who would be loyal to Trump and a great Vice Presidential candidate? The list is longer than you might think and there may be a surprise of two.
Trump has been discussing several potential vice-presidential picks, who range from the frightening to the terrifying: Ohio senator J.D. Vance, Arkansas governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders, Arizona gubernatorial failure Kari Lake, South Dakota governor Kristi Noem, and Georgia representative Marjorie Taylor Greene. Meanwhile, Melania Trump has expressed interest in Tucker Carlson, who could rile up the MAGA base (but would run the risk of upstaging Trump at rallies). 1
Other possibilities are Ron DeSantis, Tulsi Gabbard, Tim Scott, Glenn Younkin, and Elise Stefanik.
Trump claims he has selected his running mate. Sebastian Gorka says, "Someone you will like. Mike Gallagher says you will like him. Hmmm, "You will like him." Could it be Tucker Carlson? Tucker's former viewers would love this. The Demos and the Main Stream Media will have a relapse and to quote Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, "The Game is afoot." I can't think of a more effective one-two punch than Trump and Tucker. Just think about Trump and Carlson crisscrossing a state and connecting with the voters. What would a combined rally be like? Compare this with a Biden, Harris event, whining and complaining about the dictator and the inexperience of Carlson. Ring the bell baby the race would be in the bag.
