It was disappointing that Senator Fetterman did not vote to confirm Pete Hegseth, Tulsi Gabbard, and Robert F. Kennedy to Donald Trump's cabinet positions. Fetterman also voted no on Kelly Loeffler for Administer of the Small Business Administration, and so far, he has voted against the nomination of Kash Patel as Director of the FBI. Fetterman did vote for some of Trump's nominees. He voted for Brooke Rollings as Secretary of Agriculture and Eric Turner as Secretary of Housing and Urban Development. The Senator voted for Pam Bondi for Attorney General, Doug Collins for Secretary of Veterans Affairs, Sean Duffy for Transportation Secretary, and Scott Bessent to be Secretary of the Treasury. 1.
It appeared that Fetterman on television was happy with most of Trump's choices for cabinet positions. However, as always, it is not what the politician says but what he does that matters. Fetterman's voting record prompted me to see how my senators and others voted and I have links to all the senator's votes listed below.
If you are a news junkie like I am you know that former Senate Minority Leader, Mitch McConnell voted against Pete Hegseth, Tulsi Gabbard, and Robert F. Kennedy. This is disappointing. It appears that McConnell is jabbing at President Trump. Perhaps Senator McConnell is trying to emulate former Senator John McCain.
