Welcome to my blog, Politics For The Rest of Us. 

It is May of 2023, and I have just graduated from Southeastern Technical College with a Degree in Applied Arts and Sciences. I have attended five different colleges since 1952 and finally completed my dream of graduating.

Now that I have some time on my hands, I have decided to do something I'm good at. I like to create Web sites, and I love talking politics. It isn't easy to win someone over, even if you have the facts and they don't. It is tough to convince someone they have it wrong when they feel they are right. Feelings are best relied on when you are afraid or in love. In the real world, facts and logic are better barometers of what is truly going on.

This blog is about politics. I get to choose the subjects because it is my blog. For the most part, I will try to be fair to all sides. I am aware that the truth can be slanted in any direction, so please hold me accountable in your response to my blogs.
